Make Today Count Release

Taylor Releases New Single, Duet With Award-Winning Songwriter Matt Scullion.

Singer/songwriter and banjoist, Taylor Pfeiffer collaborates with Golden Guitar award-winning songwriter, Matt Scullion, for the uplifting single, Make Today Count. Typically writing songs as a solo effort, Taylor reached out to Matt Scullion for a co-writing session. Make Today Count was the resulting song, featuring on Taylor’s EP, Take Her, consisting of five original songs produced by Simon Johnson of Hillbilly Hut Studios. Make Today Count stands out as a country ballad, beginning with solo banjo before building into a whirlwind of a string section recorded in the US.

In January 2018, Matt Scullion received a Golden Guitar for ‘Song Of The Year’ with his collaboration with Amber Lawrence and Travis Collins on the song Our Backyard. Credits also include writing songs with Lee Kernaghan, with over 18 songs, over 3 albums, with 4 No.1 hits on Lee’s records, and 90 songs cut by the likes of Cold Chisel, Adam Harvey, O’Shea, Sara Storer, The Wolfe Brothers, Viper Creek Band, Jayne Denham and Paul Costa, to name a few.

Taylor, at 18-years of age, has gained airplay on Triple J, performed with artists such as Lee Kernaghan, Troy Cassar-Daley, Beccy Cole, and Kasey Chambers, and has appeared on television shows Spicks & Specks, The Voice (2017), Weekend Sunrise, and The Today Show. At the 2018 Tamworth Country Music Festival, Taylor was a Toyota Star Maker Top 10 Grand Finalist.
