Taylor and Bela Fleck Banjo Camp

Taylor has been accepted into the inaugural Blue Ridge Banjo Camp.

After an audition process, Taylor has been accepted into the camp presented by Béla Fleck in North Carolina, USA, in August. Taylor’s first time travelling overseas, she will learn from the top banjo players in the world, including Béla Fleck, Tony Trischka, Mike Munford, Kristin Scott Benson, and Steve Cooley.

“I was blown away seeing Béla Fleck, and his wife, Abigail Washburn perform live, and I just can’t believe that now I have the opportunity to learn from him. I’m excited about the whole thing… learning, meeting new people, and immersing myself in America’s strong culture for music.”

The camp atmosphere will enable Taylor to connect with other banjo players from around the world, whilst taking her skills further. After the camp, Taylor will be travelling to Tennessee and Texas before returning to Adelaide.
